Barn by Niggle
Find me when the fight is done. I will be waiting in the old barn, beneath the loft where only gold pours now through all the broken-open spaces— spilling speckled warmth onto the fallen wood, fresh life steeping all the corners, like shadow never lived. Find me where no road can reach and the sky melts into the earth like an ending. The swallowed sun glows from the burning bush of earth, bathing bare feet all new. You could walk for eons in that light, and you should. You must. The day will last, and I will let the sky pass through me and wait for you.
